Zara Sigglekow is an New Zealand born and Melbourne based arts writer, curator, and administrator. She has written for Ocula, Art Guide Australia, un Magazine, and Eyecontact. Currently she is Gallery Manager at Neon Parc.
In 2018 Zara curated Great Movements of Feeling an exhibition about emotion at Gertrude Contemporary as part of Next Wave Festival. Previous exhibitions include The Joke which explored humour in relationship to power, and was held across a commercial gallery (Neon Parc) and an ARI (Bus Projects). With an academic background in Political Studies and Art History, and a Master of Art Curatorship, her curatorial style contextualises contemporary art within broader social and cultural themes.
